The No Impact Project wants to bring the No Impact Experiment to your university this year! We’ll customize this dynamic, eight-day program to fit your goals and your campus’ culture and location. This is a great program to help students become acquainted with your sustainability practices and resources on and off campus. Please contact Lilly@noimpactproject.org to begin the process.

An Energetic Discussion About Energy
“My favorite part about NIW was sharing a local meal with members of my team. On Wednesday two of the team members and I sat outside on the Campus Center roof and ate food that I had brought…I had so much fun making everything the night before, sharing it with friends, and being able to talk to them about where EVERY ingredient in our meal came from.” – Alicia, IUPUI
“My roommate and I discussed the experiment, and how to keep it going. Actually, we want to find ways to make it last, and maybe implement some of the challenges better. We identified that the energy challenge was difficult for us to accomplish. We were surprised to learn that we depended so much on the television for entertainment…I think we are going to attempt to cut back on the television and continue to turn off the air conditioner units and the power strips when we are not using the devices.” – IWU Student
“No Impact Week was a great success. Highlights include our on-campus farmers’ market (over 30 vendors!), a talk on sustainability and food, a panel discussion on the state of water in Texas, and a film series. All events were well attended.” – Jon, Texas State University
“I’ve learned a lot about myself and the kind of person I want to become, and I’m very excited to work towards living a very happy and environmentally sustainable life.” – Student survey respondent
“It was both fun and educational to take part in this week’s experiment and I will try to continue to make less of an impact as much as I can.” – Student survey respondent
