No Impact Week for Communities
Something special happens when communities take on the No Impact Week Challenge together. So far, we have partnered with communities to host No Impact Weeks in Cleveland, Ohio; Erie, PA (twice!); La Crosse and Viroqua, WI; the Netherlands (twice!) and Guangzhou, China. Thousands of individuals have taken on the transforming No Impact Challenge through our Community No Impact Weeks.
Want to bring the No Impact Experiment to your community? We’ll customize this dynamic, eight-day program to fit your goals, local culture and location. This is a great program to help community members become acquainted with local sustainability practices and resources.
In order to make the experience as high impact and relevant to your community as possible, we will work with you to:
• Create a localized supplement for the guide, i.e. pointing participants to local resources
• Create a marketing strategy to maximize the level of participation
• Coordinate a social networking platform
• Provide a guide to help you run daily workshops
• Set up a registration page and coordinate all messaging to participants throughout the week
• Send out pre and post week surveys
• Offer suggestions for special events, speakers, and film screenings. We have found that participants get so much more out of the week if they have a chance to connect with others, share their experiences, and learn together.
